Garza fest and community activities for the Garza roof from March to the present.

Since March 2024, the Parent Board and the Dream Catchers Foundation have united to tackle a critical issue at Garza School: the deplorable state of its roof. The current conditions have created an extremely challenging environment for students, with leaks and structural damage compromising their safety and well-being.

Replacing the roof is essential to provide a safe and dignified learning environment. A new roof will allow students to en joy a protected space free from the disruptions caused by leaks and deterioration. Additionally, renovating the gymnasium and making adjustments to the electrical network will contribute to a safer and more efficient school environment.

To address this urgent need, we launched the “Techo para Garza” campaign with the goal of raising $40,000. Among the organized activities, the Garza Fest stood out with its variety of events, including competitions, music, art, delicious food, and much more. All proceeds from the event were dedicated to replacing the roof.

We have made significant progress toward our goal. However, we still need to raise approximately $25,000 to complete the project. We appreciate everyone who has contributed so far and invite you to continue supporting this vital cause.
