The Festival Estudiantil de las Artes (FEA) is a remarkable initiative by the MEP, designed to foster the holistic development of students through artistic and cultural expression. In this vibrant event, schools participating in the Dream Catchers Foundation programs, showcased their diverse talents across multiple artistic disciplines.
The festival featured an array of presentations, such as visual arts including printmaking, object design, painting, drawing, collage, masquerades, and photography. Body expression was highlighted through conceptual, traditional, and popular dance. Music performances included small bands, singing, and instrumental music, while oral expression was represented by poetry, retahilas, and bombas.
This event not only underscores the significance of artistic expression and cultural preservation but also emphasizes the need to create spaces where students can explore and cultivate their creativity. By bringing together the talents of young individuals from Nosara and beyond, the Dream Catchers Foundation and the FEA provide a platform for students to shine and contribute to the vibrant cultural tapestry of our community.
