Building Futures: 10 Workshops in Soft Skills, Pedagogy, Bullying Protocols, and Waldorf Method

Dream Catchers Foundation enriches the lives of children and teenagers across four educational centers in Nosara, through workshops that enhance social and emotional skills via visual arts and physical expression. These initiatives have positively impacted 600 students, fostering essential competencies.

We’ve achieved this by training 12 teachers in three key areas:

  • Bullying Protocols: Equipping teachers with strategies to prevent and manage bullying, creating safer and more supportive learning environments.
  • Pedagogy of Tenderness: Providing tools and approaches for cultivating empathetic and nurturing teaching practices, enriching classroom interactions.
  • Introduction to the Waldorf Method: Integrating art, language, and mathematics to foster holistic and creative learning. This method enhances academic skills through activities that stimulate critical thinking and artistic expression.

The Waldorf method has notably strengthened math, language, and art subjects in our classrooms. These programs have improved bullying detection and management, increased empathy and emotional well-being among students, and developed academic and creative skills through a holistic approach that encourages critical thinking and artistic expression.
